Data stored on your device

Project names, client and address details, rooms, tasks, dates, notes, budgets, expenses, photos and floor plans are stored locally on your device. MakeReno does not send these records to us or operate a project-data server.

Photos and camera

MakeReno accesses the camera when you choose to take a photo, and imports photos you select through the system photo picker. Images are compressed and stored inside your local project. You can remove individual photos in the app.

Subscriptions

Apple processes subscription payments. MakeReno uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore them and manage Pro access. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription history, transaction identifiers, an anonymous app user ID, and basic technical information such as app version, operating system, locale and currency. We do not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, advertising identifier or renovation records. Purchase history is used for app functionality and subscription analytics, and is not linked by us to your identity. We do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat privacy policy.

Anonymous usage analytics

MakeReno uses Aptabase in its European Union region to understand whether the app is useful. It sends a session start and one session end summary containing duration, feature-use counts, numbers of projects, rooms, tasks, photos and expenses, and whether Pro is active. It never sends project names, addresses, notes, captions, photos, floor-plan images, financial amounts or RevenueCat user IDs to Aptabase. If a session is interrupted, a partial summary may be sent on the next launch.

Aptabase also receives app and OS versions, device model and locale. It derives country and region from the IP address, and uses an app-specific hash that rotates daily to count users. Aptabase states that it does not store the IP address, collect persistent device identifiers or correlate people across apps or days. This data is used for analytics, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for advertising or tracking. Delivery of analytics is best effort. Aptabase privacy policy.

No advertising or tracking

MakeReno has no advertising, cross-app tracking, account registration or cloud AI features. It does not sell personal information. Renovation content remains on your device; only the limited subscription and usage information described above is processed by these service providers.

Control and deletion

You can edit or delete projects, tasks, photos and expenses in the app. Deleting a room keeps its photos and expenses at project level. Deleting a project removes its local records. Deleting the app may remove all local app data. Device backups are governed by your device and Apple Account settings.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Please avoid sending private project details unless needed. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process request information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure pages. The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

Children

MakeReno is a general-purpose renovation organizer and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
